I have been teaching piano and voice for over 30 years.
I teach a well-rounded education from Bach to Broadway, including theory and scales for piano and breathing techniques and vocal exercises for voice students.
The lesson is 30 minutes. I teach from the John Thompson Piano Series and supplement classical pieces and pop pieces when the students are able.
Voice lessons are also 30 minutes with a discount for a one hour lesson. I teach many different styles of music from Italian Arias to Broadway Show tunes.

My daughter recently started doing pianolessons with Lynn and she just loves it. She loves Lynn and thinks she is so nice. I sat in on her first session and I learned so much just from watching in the background. Lynn is an outstanding piano teacher and I recommend her for anyone interested in piano or voice lessons.

I have no experience with piano, but Lynn has made me feel more confident with learning. Just on my first lesson she was able to help me understand concepts very well and was so easy at explaining them. I feel that with working with Lynn I will achieve my goals of being a pianist. Lynn is an excellent piano teacher. My 9-year old boy loves playing piano with her. She knows how to teach kids. Younger brother has waited for his brother while he is playing. 2months later after watching his brother, my 5-year old son wants to learn to play piano. He will start next month with Lynn! My mom took me to try it out because the past teachers I've had I didn't like and we came only for my sister. After I saw her play I wanted to get back to it. Ms. Farradj was very nice to me and very patient when I made mistakes. She made me learn things very quickly and I got to play songs I thought was really hard to play in only a few classes! She is really funny and nice to me and my sister.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I always price my lessons by what is comparable in my area.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If they have studied music in the past I see where they are at and then begin with the books appropriate for them. If they are beginners we start at the entry level of the piano series.
Voice students begin with breath control and vocalizing and then continue with music appropriate for thir level.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I trained with my piano and voice teachers when I was out of high school. They were the best musicians in Los Angeles! I also majored in music in college and I have a degree in early childhood education.
