Hello all,The service tech Pablo was respectful, conciderate and knowledgeable about how to find the issue I was having with my central heating system. I explained what was happening, and also what was not happening when I tried to run the heater. My guess from past experiences was more than likely a faulty pilot switch. Even so, Pablo ran through the central heating unit furnace components one by one until he found the issue.It turned out to be a bad blower motor. The pilot switch was ok, it was not kicking on because the blower motor had malfunctioned and would not start up so the system would not trigger the pilot to light up and start the furnace.After working for roughly 20 minutes Pablo called me over to tell me he found the issue. It was the blower he said, not the pilot switch. I was puzzled and asked how does that make sense? He then said he would show me by doing a demonstration of his diagnosis by tricking the system to think the blower motor had started so the pilot switch could go ahead and light up the pilot to start the gas flow and then ignite the gas which begins to heat the furnace.Once he did that, the pilot switch clicked and began to lite up, then the gas came on and everything ignited so the furnace was running. Atvthat point I was convinced he had solved the issue. It was as he said it was, the blower motor was the issue. I learned something just then that I did not know prior about the operating system sequence on my furnace. Love it!Thank you Pablo! Great Job!!! Now please come back and fix it..... It's been fn cold lately. Lol....5 stars for Pablo.Best regards - Robert Webb.
