Introduction

Most driving schools are focused on just passing a driving test which is where we differ most . We are more focused on creating safe and confident drivers. With a focus on defensive driving techniques that are usually only acquired after years and years of driving. We Pick up and drop off from home. Our vehicles are dual equipped newer mid sized sedans. We encourage whomever the student will be practicing with most to also come along this way we can advise them on what specific things to practice in between sessions. We have 4 different instructors and we have been in business since 2007. We serve east bay , San francisco down to San Mateo , and Marin County. Our instructors have a passion for creating safe and confident drivers!

I had an incredible learning experience with Paul, he is so calm and patient all the time and explain clearly to me every questions I have with my vehicle maneuver and rules of road, unlike any other instructor I hired before, who are condescending and bad-tempered. I got my license after two lesson with Paul.

Paul from Bill's Defensive Driving School was great and had me pass my driving test on the first time! He taught some great techniques for driving defensively and has a long history of teaching driving in the Bay Area.

Responsive with initial reservation but instructor was an hour late due to traffic. Very nice, patient instructor who seemed to be knowledgeable about driving test tricks.

Behind the Wheel : Our rate is $80.00 per hour and we do a minimum of a 2 hour lesson in one day. Online Drivers Education : $49.95 Written Evaluation : $ 20.00 Accepted forms of payment : Cash , Check , Credit card or paypal
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
You can either call , Live chat , Email to talk with either Deb or Sarah to set up your first behind the wheel lesson. There is an option to fill out an online enrollment form at our website

Owner : Bill Allenbaugh - Class 1, Haz Mat, Air, and Tanker endorsements. Instructor license 10 years; Owner and Operator's licenses 8 years. Driver Instructor training license 7 years. Initial training by former CHP Officer. College graduate wih honors. Long time Bay Area resident. Proud father and grand father.
