About Me
Hi, my name is Hemu. Playing tennis for over 20 years. I give a basic understanding of playing tennis. There is a lot of patience in me. I understand beginner players. I make fun games for kids. My intention is to take a player to the next level. I will work with beginners of all ages.

Teaching Style
I teach with patience and kindness. I give my students encouragement and clear directions. I direct them in age-appropriate drills to teach coordination with eyes, hands, feet, and the racquet. When they are doing well, I praise and encourage them.
I help keep them focused on controlling the ball, not just using the power. I give them the understanding and importance of GPS (Grip, Preparation, and Swing Path). I teach them Forehand strokes, backhand, serve, and Lob. After a few lessons, they should be able to rally and volley.

Hemu is a brilliant coach weather you are wanting to sharpen your skills, starting out or have kids who want to learn! She is patient and lets you come to your opportunities on your own through practice, never micromanaging and always encouraging. Plus she is just a delight to be around. Mi son has been taking occasional tennis lessons with Hemu over the past year. I took him out to the tennis courts last weekend and was impressed at how confident he felt. He was able to walk me through the warm-up and a great series of exercises. Hemu has done a great job!

I am very happy to have Manuel's son as a student. He is 6 years old, a perfect age to start learning. He is enthusiastic and attentive. He follows all my instructions and has progressed in his tennis skills very satisfactorily. In just a few months, he has learned how to handle forehand and backhand strokes and soft rallies. This is the perfect way to lay the foundation for tennis.

We have been very happy with the lessons our daughter (11) has had with Hemu. She has been taking lessons for four months and has learned so much. When she started, she had trouble rallying for more than a few strokes. Now she learned grips, forehand, backhand, volleys, overheads and more. Most importantly, she has gone from being lukewarm on tennis to being enthusiastic and confident.
Hemu is a patient and kind teacher. After every lesson our daughter speaks glowingly about her, and she can be a tough critic. I would highly recommend Hemu as a tennis instructor.

I am pleased to teach Damien's daughter how to play tennis. She is attentive, enthusiastic, and a quick learner. Her lessons start with a warm-up exercise, footwork, and various drills. I teach the technically correct way of playing tennis; this includes how to hold a racket - and understand the correct grip for each stroke. I explain the preparation, unit-turn, and swing path for forehand stroke or backhand stroke. Sometimes I change the routine by changing the drills so the students do not get bored. I assess each student's ability and guide them to improve their skills.
