Thank you for visiting my page! My name is Andrew DeSesa, I help both the ordinary person with No Experience in the gym as well as the Experienced Athlete look, move and feel their best through 1-on-1 personal training. What you can expect from working with me is improving your body composition, while increasing your overall level of strength and fitness…So that you can go about your life pain free, with the energy and ability to do all the things you want to enjoy. Why I Got Into Personal Training is as a young kid...I always dreamed of playing college football, but I was naturally unathletic. (When I told other people about my dream of playing college football they told me they didn't believe it was possible.) Fast-forward After 6 years of hard work and learning, I got accepted to Brown University to play D1AA Collegiate Football. After college I got into competitive powerlifting to start a New Chapter of My Physical Journey. After winning several competitions I had people come to me for help who had seen how far I had come and how I had transformed who I was. This got me into Personal Training. Since becoming a Personal Trainer I have worked with over 250+ People to help them to change their life over the last 10+ years. (To help them to accomplish goals they never thought possible.) How I can help you is by: -Removing the guesswork and pitfalls involved in reaching your fitness goals. I came to Andrew through Thumbtack with no prior experience working with a personal trainer. I have been a runner for many years, and chronic, regular injuries always sidelined me for a portion of every year. I tried strength training and flexibility routines on my own, but always felt like I was getting the mechanics wrong and further injuring myself. I’ve had a handful of sessions with Andrew so far and am amazed how precisely he has zoned in on my weaknesses. I hoped for — but did not expect — to work with a trainer who understands the common weak points and injuries for runners. To my surprise, Andrew’s intuition and experience has thus far keyed in so accurately to my under-developed muscles and mechanics. In just a few sessions, I can already feel less pain and awkwardness in my runs. I feel more efficient and am wildly optimistic that with this work I can for the first time keep running a sustainable practice. As far as personality and instruction goes, Andrew is spot on for my liking. He brings a wealth of physiological knowledge to his instruction and is eager to share the rationale behind the exercises and load. He is demanding but responsive if the load is too much; he is positive and encouraging without being cloying in his support. I’m very happy with Andrew’s work thus far and look forward to regular sessions to keep me running.

I am the most unlikely person to hire a trainer, this guy is a gift from the health Gods! Soon to be booked solid- get this trainer while you can. He’s attentive, encouraging, intelligent and committed. I could have gotten a new car or this guy. I made the right choice. Girls- trust me - you need a new man in your life and this is him. Guys- this is a trainer’s trainer, not sloppy seconds. He is changing my life and he’ll change yours!

Andrew is such a phenomenal personal trainer. I can’t recommend him enough, my body and view of fitness has completely changed since started working with him. !!! I will train with him always at this point!

If ever your in need of a personal training look no further. Andrew knows his stuff, yet teaches in a comprehensive manor. It was fun and I really feel like I learned something new. After leaving I I felt the burn but also the passion to want to keep coming back. Trying to train by myself is hard, I lack the Motivation and the form, but with Andrew I just listen and let him take care of the rest. He motivated me and trained me, and before you new it I was lifting more and had more energy to keep going. 10/10 will do again. If ever in doubt take this as your sign to go forward with it, you won’t regret it.
