FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer students a free 30 minutes trial lesson for us to talk about their goals and get to know each other better. I have monthly packages that are less than my individual hourly lessons. Come take a free trial lesson with me and we can discuss these rates!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
During our first session, I will talk to you about proper breathing, the muscles engaged, and generally our body as the instrument. Next I warm up your voice with vocal exercises that will help with expanding the range and building your techniques. Then you can sing something you like for me so I can hear your voice and find out your vocal range. We will then talk about your favorite songs/artists and the styles you are interested at, so I can suggest songs that will work on your range and improve your techniques and of course set up a lesson plan based on that.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started playing flute and piano as a kid. I got my degree in Instrumental Music (flute) from Rahil Conservatory in Tehran, where I played as a professional flutist in multiple orchestras and ensembles. Meanwhile I began my study of singing and performing in choirs. After moving to United States, I studied voice at Pasadena City College and later I received my masters degree in Vocal Performances from California State University, Northridge. I am also a certified CCM teacher from Shenandoah Conservatory where I was trained by some of the best coaches of the industry
