- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initial Consultation and Examination: We begin by scheduling an initial consultation and examination with the new customer. During this comprehensive session, we take the time to understand their fitness background, goals, and any specific concerns they may have. Additionally, if indicated or requested, we conduct a thorough physical, neurological, and orthopedic examination to assess their overall health and fitness level. This examination helps us identify any underlying issues or areas of concern that may require a more aggressive sports medicine approach. Assessment: Following the consultation and examination, we proceed with a comprehensive assessment to evaluate the customer's current fitness level, movement patterns, strength, flexibility, and any areas of weakness or imbalance. This assessment serves as the foundation for designing a personalized training program that addresses their individual needs and goals. Goal Setting: Based on the information gathered during the consultation, examination, and assessment, we collaborate with the customer to set specific, measurable, and achievable goals that are relevant to their needs and aspirations. Whether their objectives involve weight loss, muscle building, athletic performance enhancement, or overall fitness improvement, we ensure their goals are tailored to their individual circumstances. Program Design: Utilizing the insights gained from the assessment and goal-setting process, we design a customized training program that aligns with the customer's objectives, preferences, and schedule. This program may encompass various components, including strength training, cardiovascular exercise, flexibility training, and functional movements, all tailored to their unique needs and fitness level. Training Sessions: With the training program in place, we schedule regular training sessions with the customer, typically conducted in our private gym under the guidance of a sports chiropractor. During these sessions, we provide hands-on support, guidance, and motivation to ensure the customer executes their workouts safely and effectively. Ongoing Support and Progress Tracking: Throughout the training process, we offer continuous support and encouragement to keep the customer motivated and engaged. Additionally, we track their progress regularly and make any necessary adjustments to their training program to ensure they continue to make steady progress towards their goals. Review and Reassessment: Periodically, we conduct reviews and reassessments to evaluate the customer's progress and make any necessary adjustments to their training program. This allows us to ensure they remain on track towards their goals and continue to challenge themselves appropriately as they advance in their fitness journey. By incorporating a comprehensive examination into the initial consultation process, we can provide a more thorough assessment of the customer's health and fitness status, allowing us to tailor our approach accordingly and deliver the most effective and personalized care possible.

Clinical Experience: Throughout my education and training, I would have gained valuable clinical experience through internships, externships, and supervised clinical rotations. I have experience working with both professional athletes to young aspiring student athletes. These hands-on experiences allowed me to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world settings, working with patients to assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions and injuries. Continuing Education: As a lifelong learner committed to staying current with the latest advancements in sports chiropractic and related fields, I regularly participate in continuing education courses, seminars, workshops, and conferences. These opportunities allow me to expand my knowledge, refine my skills, and incorporate evidence-based practices into my clinical approach.
