SCAM ALRET!!! Pool owners beware! Gilberto will take your money and never responds if anything goes wrong with your pool. I hired him to install a variable speed pump for my pool, and unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory. Actually I should say my experience was aweful. Quality of Work: The pump installation was sub-par. The pump was not leveled properly, and the installation was not sturdy. He stuffed some scrap pieces of wood and plastic under the pump to level it but the pump started shaking and making a lot of noise due to not being firmly constrained. Within an hour of the job being "completed," the outlet of the pump started leaking. Communication: Gilberto assured me that I could text him if any issues arose. However, when I did reach out immediately after the leak started, he ignored my messages and gave hand-wavy responses. Eventually, he outright told me to hire a plumber to fix the issue, showing a lack of responsibility and professionalism. Reliability: His timing was far from reliable, and he did not respond well to my concerns. His disregard for the agreed-upon follow-up shows a significant lack of commitment to his work and customer satisfaction. Professionalism: The contractor's behavior was unethical, as he did not honor his own words. Ignoring my messages and ultimately telling me to hire someone else is unacceptable. Overall, I would not recommend Gilberto for any installation or repair work. The experience was frustrating, and the lack of professionalism and accountability was extremely disappointing. I consider the money I gave him a loss.
