FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There are no additional fees, and your first session is half off :)
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When you contact me for the first time, we will have a half hour phone conversation getting to know each other, then have a conversation about your needs and expectations and any questions you have. We will arrange a time to meet at my office in Palo Alto or to tutor online.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelors in Mathematics from UC Berkeley. I have taken all of the required courses for the degree as well as: Real Analysis, Complex Analysis, Abstract Algebra, Linear Algebra, Ordinary Differential Equations, Number Theory, Knot Theory. I have also taken PhD level courses in: Model Theory, Incompleteness and Computability, Algebraic Number Theory, and Analysis. Other than all of the advanced coursework I have, I spent two semesters at Berkeley creating and teaching a course called "The Beauty of Math", which was aimed at college students who have little to no background in Math. I taught over 100 students about different advanced theoretical concepts that each student can understand. It was a joy and I'm very glad to have had the opportunity.
