FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our tuning price is $175, or $200 for pianos which have not been tuned in a long time. I charge a little more than average but I focus on getting as much done in an appointment, instead of charging for each individual repair. This means I can do the most for your piano (repairs + tuning) in one appointment at what comes out to be a cheaper cost than getting repairs done individually anywhere else.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My Service Coordinator will probably be the first person you speak with, but I'm happy to discuss your needs when I'm not working in someone's home. We can talk, text, or email if you're more comfortable with that.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a composer, songwriter, and videographer. I have a keen ear developed over years of working with bands, clients and my own music. I have an electronics background as well and have designed my own guitar effects pedals. I have also studied piano technology at Apollo School of Music and worked extensively in the shop at SF PianoWorks where I focused on piano rebuilding.
