- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My current rate per hour is $50. However, the majority of my clients choose to buy one of my packages which range between 6-18+ hours making the hourly rates lower between $50-$44 per hour.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I go to the customer's home and do a free consultation to get a better idea of the work involved and to give the customer a more accurate quote. Then, if I am hired for the job, we schedule our work sessions which usually last between 3-6 hours. I either work alone or alongside the client. I will never purge any of the client's items without their permission. After the session, I will either drop off the client's items to be donated, or they can do it themselves. Or I can help them sell the items if they want. I am paid after each work session. I accept cash, checks, paypal, Venmo, Zelle, or credit cards.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Although I have a teaching credential in elementary education, I always knew I wanted to become a professional organizer. I have a natural ability and passion for organizing. I have been organizing my own home and friend's and families' homes for years. After completing an extensive on-line training program, I started my business. I continually educate myself about organizing by reading books and listening to webinars about organizing and, also, by connecting with other organizers.
