Michael Raye of SoulRaye music is a consummate professional. He is highly qualified, is an extremely talented musician, engineer, producer, music director, teacher, composer, and performer as well as a gifted prodigy. I have worked with him for 22 years on numerous shows, overseas tours, performances, & studio recordings and give him 5 stars across the board.
His experience working with big stars has honed an incredible work ethic and gift for working well with others and he has a great, friendly personality which helps so much in this intense, stressful world of ours.

I’ve recorded and performed with SoulRaye across the country for many years. While in NYC, I was a member of his legendary Soul Gathering house band. From humble beginnings at Chaz and Wilson on West 79th to (standing room only every week) at Triads on 72nd. During this time, we recorded his album Due Lights and toured with Parsons Dance Company (among the many projects he was commissioned for).
Every professional experience with SoulRaye has been flawless. Most recently in my role as the Sound Engineer at Jamul Casino in the The Lounge. This venue requires a sophisticated act that, at the same time, gives the guest a lively/ energetic experience. SoulRaye delivered. Song selection and delivery were spot on.
Go ahead and tick off the sound quality box. SoulRaye satisfies in this very important aspect, as well. Too often overlooked until it’s too late. Quality sound and appropriate volume levels separates this act into the A-list.
The level of excellence you get with Michael, as an artist, is carried over to the team of gifted players he employs. Most of whom have a resume that reads like a Billboard chart. And, these are quality people. Enjoyable people. Inspiring People.
