I needed a fridge picked up from Lowe’s and brought into my townhome. The pickup was great but they could not get up the stairs (kitchen is on the 2nd level). It’s a very tight fit and the stairs have a tight turn, but I’ve had a bigger fridge delivered and installed before. If they couldn’t have done it I wish they wouldn’t just told me straight up. Instead Mike told me they were coming back with an extra person 3 different times. And when they did the entire front of my fridge is damaged. And not just small dents. One is a foot and a half long. And it’s both Fridge doors and the freezer door. I figured my walls would be nicked (which they are very damaged as well) but not my fridge ruined. When I complained he said that he told me there would be some damage (due to the nature of the stairs) and my response was that this was more than just some damage. He said that’s all “semantics” and that I had been recorded (without my knowledge - so be prepared for your private conversation to be taped) agreeing to some possible damage. You can see the pics for yourself. And they’re only a fraction of the damage. This is gross negligence.
