Hi there, my name is Mindy! I am a singer/songwriter and music teacher who has taught voice and piano since 2014. I've been singing in groups since age 11 and I received my BA in Voice from the University of North Texas in 2013. I believe that music making should be a stress-free and fun process, available to all who seek it! Consistency and compassion are the two biggest elements of my current practice. I currently reside in Oakland, California, and after years of teaching with studios, have decided to take the leap into solo practice! Come make music with me! :)

Mindy taught me how to sing and she also worked with my band. Honestly she’s the best teacher I’ve ever had, she was always very kind and was extremely knowledgeable and she always encouraged me to keep growing and to try new things. They are a truly incredible teacher.

Mindy made excellent use of the time she had with both my daughters. She was encouraging but also pushed them to go beyond and reach for more.
