FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My price is as low as you can go for the work I deliver. That is enabled through being cross-functional, selecting clients who have done the design work, and having almost no administrative overhead. Since I promote the business and also perform the work, I have to charge for time required to estimate.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It's best if you have some idea what you want. Ideal if you've already purchased materials. If measurements or dimensions need to be taken for you to order materials (cabinets, tile, flooring, trim), I can take those measurements during an estimate.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been building since I was 14. I attended college. After that, I worked as a finish/cabinetry carpenter and marble bathroom installer. I've been doing finish carpentry and tile since then (over 30 years), part-time, with over 7 years of full-time remodel work I can validate. I am CSLB B-2 (remodel) license qualified (pending verification from a host of clients).
