After many years of not working in my passion, I’ve finally decided to take my love for interior design to the next level. My approach to interior design and decor is to make it accessible and personal. My belief is that you don’t need to be a millionaire to have an interior designer and that you should work with someone who understands your style. Lena did a wonderful job completely redecorating my rooftop patio. Beyond her creative and unique style, what set her apart from other designers was her thoughtfulness, organization and professionalism. It started with a discussion on my goals followed by a timely proposal. Then, when the work kicked off, Lena kept to timeline and made sure to check in and get feedback on progress. I really appreciated how she took the time to understand my vision, and strived to also balanced the interests of my partner by incorporate design elements we both were excited about. Lena managed the project from start to finish, and kept close communication. It was a very smooth process and I am so glad I got to work with Lena. I would highly recommend and work with her again. I reached out to Lena because I wanted to redo my living room with a mid century style. We first met to discuss specific items I was looking for (couch, media console, credenza, carpet, lighting, and plants). I gave her my budget and she sent over items she thought I would like. There was back and forth for her to figure out what I liked or disliked. The design and purchasing was the quick part, but waiting for the furniture is what took a long time. Since I’m happy with the living room, my next project with Lena will be the dining room and kitchen.
