FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer two different services... Full Drain & Clean: Involves draining the water from your spa, scrubbing the shell, cleaning the filter(s), cabinet, top and bottom of the cover and treating it with a protectant, Vacuuming out sediment, Refilling the spa, and adding all necessary balancing and sanitizing start-up chemicals. Cost ranges from $265 - $325 (based on size) and takes roughly 3 hours. Maintenance Cleaning: Testing & balancing the water's Ph, alkalinity, calcium, sanitizer etc..., Cleaning the filter, Cleaning the waterline build up on the shell, Skimming out large sediment, and Topping off the water. Cost is $75 & takes roughly 30 minutes. (Note: Under the circumstance where there is an excessive build-up of algae, mold, mildew etc..., there may be an additional fee to compensate for the extra steps, time and products required.)
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get as much detailed info as possible about the spa, as well as current maintenance routine, issues with the watercare etc..., so I can make sure everything gets addressed properly. Afterwards, I strongly value the opportunity to educate the owner and help them establish a routine that will promote a healthy, clear, functional spa.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I spent 4 years as sales manager for the largest spa dealership in the Northeast (Philadelphia area), at which time I attended numerous and varied trainings & seminars. I then went on to start a spa cleaning & maintenance company where I did 100's of spas over the course of 5 years before closing and relocating the the Bay Area. I'm also a proud spa owner myself!
