I hired Sasha for two tricky rooms in my house, and she did an amazing job! She took a lot of care to properly patch and smooth out surfaces before painting, and it looks so much better than I ever thought it could. I also *really* appreciate how much care she took to protect my walls and cabinets from dust and paint splatter. I'm super happy with the work and 100% recommend Genuine Hands Painting to anyone in need of a painter!

Sasha and her team are the complete package. We have been working for the past few years to replace much of the shingle siding on our 100+ year old craftsman home in preparation for pulling the trigger on painting, and we knew that we still had a lot of repair work ahead to undo a few decades of deferred maintenance before we could make that move. We eventually hit a wall on completing this work ourselves, so it was important to us to find a housepainter who wasn't just going to slap some lipstick on a pig but could also do the much needed prep and repair work that our house needed. And boy did they. Sasha and her team spent weeks carefully scraping, prepping, sanding, filling, fairing, and breathing new life into this old wood house. They are true craftspeople, and unafraid of spending time to do the job right. Sasha was an awesome communicator, and kept us in the loop at every turn. Our house is now completely transformed, and I couldn't be happier. This is the team you should call if you want the job done right, hands down.

Following thorough prep-Mad Dog clear primer on all raw wood & two coats of Benjamin Moore tinted Smart Primer backing high quality long lasting rich pigment Aura, Benjamin Moore exterior paint. Genuine Hands Painting did a spectacular job hand-painting a poetry mural for @kian.locke (https://www.thekeyunlocks.us) on Market St across from the Safeway near Duboce and Church. Sasha managed all of the materials and supplies (she painted all of this on a ladder!), helped pick out color options, and succeeded in getting the entire job done in-between bouts of San Francisco's notoriously fickle and rainy weather over the course of a couple of weeks. Would definitely work with her again, and recommend her and her company whole-heartedly to anyone who asks.

We charge by the square footage which is different for interior verses exterior.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A walk through followed by an estimate. Assistance with color selection. Often applying samples to visualize for final selections.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I had the honor of being taught the painters process at the young age of 16. As well as knowing the way of the brush as a life long Artist. At age 36 now I feel I have perfecting my skill in many ways while knowing there is always room for growth.
