Kevin Coleman Drum Instructor

My lessons focus on developing basic motor skills required to play drums, learning basic rudiments, being able to read rhythm and drum notation, and having a good time and feel. I can teach any style of music, including, but is not limited to, rock, jazz, funk, Latin, reggae, etc. I have been playing drums since I was about 10 years old. I have toured performing music across the United States and regularly perform throughout the Bay Area. I have played in various projects that covered many different styles of music. I received my bachelor's degree in music performance with a focus on jazz studies from the California Jazz Conservatory, where I studied under some of the best musicians and teachers in the Bay Area, and learned to play many different styles of music as well as music theory and history.
