FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I prefer to tailor my pricing to the needs of the project. Quick Thumbtack bids are fine as a starting point, when followed by in-depth discussions of what's required, mainly what you're looking for, and adjusting the price to fit the project. I'm happy to meet with you at the location, without charge or obligation, to review your project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
To meet at the location, as far ahead of photography as possible, to discuss all the details, to insure the right equipment is on hand, to plan a shooting schedule, to plan for best light, etc. Most importantly, to fully appreciate what you're looking for.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Graduate of University of Missouri School of Journalism, which publishes a daily paper for which I covered many assignments as photographer. Following four years in the Navy, I earned an MFA from UCLA in television and film production -- invaluable training for what followed as a producer of commercials for Young & Rubicam Inc. and later as director of commercials for national clients.
