Hi there, My name is Keyhan Kamelian and I'm a pianist, composer and instructor based in Los Angeles, CA. It'd be my pleasure to help you progress towards your musical goals and play your favorite songs as soon as possible. If of interest, we can always do some composing and songwriting together as well. With over 20 years of experience in piano performance and 10 years in private instruction, my lessons take a comprehensive approach to teaching Piano and aim to maximize your progress rate towards your musical goals through customized and modern methods. Think of a well-rounded program that not only is based on your learner profile and goals, but goes beyond to push your musical & creative growth, unlocking your true potential. Lessons take place at the North Hollywood, CA studio, or online over Zoom with a multi-angled pro setup that's easy to follow and as effective as in-person lessons. All you need is a computer with a webcam and a stable internet connection. LESSON RATES 30 minute lessons ($60/hour) / $240 per month 45 minute lessons ($80/hour) / $320 per month 60 minute lessons ($100/hour) / $400 per month 4 sessions per month, on a weekly basis I cannot wait to share with you my knowledge and experience as well as helping you with building solid technique and foundation and at the same time perform dynamically and with emotions. I enjoyed taking lesson with Keyhan. He is kind, patient and talented. He structures his lesson with a blend of things, depending on your personal goals. My piano playing is intermediate, learned classical then played pop songs by sight. I am excited to have exposure to other genres, and to better understand them!

Keyhan is an excellent teacher. His lessons are varied and fun. He is patient, while at the same time holding his students to high standards. Keyhan's lessons strike a great balance between the fundamentals --theory and technique -- and creativity and musicality. My son has made great progress with him and loves what he is learning.

I took piano lessons with KK Music and Productions for a year, and in that year I saw the most progress. This took a lot of patience on Keyhan's part. He helped me to be more proficient technically, along with explore the musicality of multiple genres. We always made good use of our time-- I felt consistant movement forward and felt closer to my goals each day. Keyhan was also very organized, which helped in creating effiecent practice routines in the lessons and outside of the lessons. KK Productions helped me become a better musician all around-- truly a unique and personal experience. I couldn't have asked for more.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process begins with a trial lesson during which I aim to learn about the student's musical background and their objectives when it comes to lessons. I then begin putting together a custom program based on the student's goals in order to maximize efficiency of lessons while keeping them fun and inspiring.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelors degree in music production and music arranging from Berklee College of Music. I have also passed Trinity Guildhall grade 8 piano performance examination with distinction. I have 20 years of classical training on piano after which I began mastering other styles such as Jazz and Pop. I have 10 years of gigging and touring experience in the US and internationally with solo artists as well as bands.
