- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I don't have a standard. Every job is different. I normally don't charge for estimates, if I get the job.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get to know my customers. I inform them of all the choices they have, I like to give them ideas so they can better determine the outcome of their work. I inform them of trending materials, such as, wifi connected switches that work with their phones. hardwired "Ring doorbells" as opposed to rechargeable or battery powered. Security is very important know a days, so I explain to them how having motion sensor switches help by turning lights on as your pet travels through the house. This way, I makes would be assailants think that someone is home. (These are essential, now that we all work farther from home) I have motion activated switches at my house, and I get calls from my neighbors, telling me they are at the door and thought I was home because certain lights are on. See, I did I little informing there.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All the time. I'm an expert pipe bender, high voltage cable splicer, instrumentation and PLC's, CAT IV and CAT VI, running and terminating. I also do Camers systems, Electric gate openers and I great at trouble shooting AC systems.(when your condenser is not running, its usually not motor failure. its capacitor failure. call me so I can take a look and save you thousands of dollars.) we have to have a minimum of 32 hours of schooling, every 3 years, to renew our licenses.
