FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Prices are negotiable depending on event, guest count, and travel time.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
As a DJ/Bartender, my typical process for working with a new customer involves the following steps: 1. Initial Consultation: I start by meeting with the client to understand their event needs, including their musical preferences, drink preferences, and overall vision for the event. 2. Customization: Based on the consultation, I create a customized plan for my DJ or bartending services. This may involve curating playlists tailored to the client’s tastes, designing specialty cocktails, and coordinating logistics for the event. 3. Communication: Throughout the planning process, I maintain open and clear communication with the client. This includes discussing timelines, equipment requirements, and any special requests they may have for the event. 4. Coordination: On the day of the event, I arrive early to set up my DJ equipment or bar station. I work closely with the client and other vendors to ensure that everything is in place and runs smoothly. 5. Performance: During the event, I provide high-energy DJ sets while also serving drinks and engaging with guests behind the bar. I use my experience to read the crowd and adjust the music and drink offerings to keep the atmosphere lively. 6. Follow-up: After the event, I follow up with the client to gather feedback and ensure their satisfaction with both the DJ or bartending services. This helps me improve and refine my offerings for future events, ensuring a memorable experience for every client.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am TIPS certified, and received a certificate of completion at National Bartending School, where I attended 40 hours of education. My education as a DJ has been majority self-taught, and mentored by other Dj’s. I honed my craft through the experience gained from performing at hundreds of gigs. Every event has been a lesson, allowing me to refine my skills, master various techniques, and understand the nuances of engaging diverse audiences. This hands-on approach has shaped me into the seasoned DJ I am today.
