I hired Tammy to help me with preparing my divorce paperwork, specifically, my assets and debts paperwork. During our one and only in person meeting she seemed to care about my situation and also very professional and even agreed to escort me to court to bd supportive of my situation. At the end of our meeting, SHE offered to serve my divorce petiton to my soon-to-be ex-husband since I was having difficulties getting him the paperwork due to him we evading my friends. She charged me $50 for this additional service. She went to his work on a Wednesday night at 8:30 PM and was unable to serve him due to him being sent home early. She then said she would try again the next night between 5-10 pm. The next night I waited until 8:00 pm to reach out to her via text to get an update on how things were going. She didn't respond to my text. I texted her again around 10:00 PM. Again, no response. I waited up till 1:30 AM for her to respond and she was fully aware of how anxious I was about the situation with my ex, so I just went to bed and woke up and texted her again around 6:30 AM. I advised her that I was not wanting to sever our business relationship and that I liked her, but if she was not able to do the job I hired and paid her to do, then I would need to find someone to do it for me. 8:00 AM rolls around and she finally texts me 12 hours after my first text to her was sent. There was no apology from her, no explanation as to why she didn't respond to my texts, nothing. All she said was that she was refunding me my money via Paypal and she thought it would be "mutually beneficial" if I found a process server to serve my ex. She then said she would forward my paperwork back to me and finish my declarations over the weekend and to give her 10 mins to refund the money. You'll find a screenshot of her response to me attached to this review. From there, things just got completely insane. She accused me of being on drugs, she asked me if there was something wrong with me, she said, "I think there may be something wrong with you maybe you're so distraught over the divorce you're taking it out on me" and it continued on like that all day. I requested she return all my documents and that I did not want her finishing my declarations, because why would I want her working on my divorce papers if she is obviously not reliable AT ALL? It got to the point where I threatened to get authorities involved if she didn't do as I asked, because in my mind, she was now stealing from me and refusing to return my documents and money. She said she’d be happy to meet me at the police station. Who says that? Especially someone who calls themself a professional. I think she failed to comprehend that I hired HER not the other way around. So when I fired her for being non responsive and having absolutely zero explanation as to why she didn't answer my texts or an apology, she got immediately defensive, rude, extremely disrespectful and so so so unprofessional with me that I then began to lose my cool with her. Because she had the original divorce petiton papers in her possession and they meant a great deal to me and I wanted them served two days prior. I told her to drop my documents off at my work by 12 pm and she wouldn't have to see me and it would be done. She refused. I had to have co-workers of mine reach out to her and then they had to drive to HER at 3:30 PM that day to get my papers and what I thought was a full refund. She only refunded me $50 at that time when I had paid her an additional $130. I got Thumbtack Support involved, and only when I did that, did she finally refund the full amount I paid her. She had given me unfinished docs with information on it that was inaccurate, did not match what I provided and I just finished doing all the pap last night by my self with the help of an AWESOME platform called Justanswer. So, my advice to you is to steer clear of this “Pro” as Thumbtack has labeled her. She is not a pro in my opinion and she needs to learn some customer service skills and little more about legal documentation because the little work she did was completely inaccurate. For example my last name is MASSIE. She put on my FL-150 and FL-142 MACCIE. What the??? The amount of value she listed for my property disclosures was completely off and I confirmed this with an actual REAL legal professional. And also Thumbtack took FOREVER to get back to me and when they did, had the audacity to reprimand me for cursing in my texts to her a few times. I mean, would you not be a little heated if someone promised to do a job for you, then ignored you and offers no reason for the non-communication, attempt to fire YOU even though they were your client, accused you of being on drugs, insinuated that something was mentally wrong with you and refused to return your documents or money until someone else got involved who could force her to do so? I think you would. My advice, don’t hire Tammy unless you want to be ignored and given extremely poor service. She had my first review removed cause there was profanity in my screenshots (boo boo) so I’ve made extra sure to watch my tongue and to black out cuss words.

Contact, active listening to their requirements and gathering information on an individual basis for that case, discussing the options available to the cients, getting their final decisions on the work that is necessary for their case, and finally, compiling information and completing the assignment.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Paralegal Certification from the State of California. This is obtained by completing 28 units in Paralegal Studies and Legal Secretarial courses in an approved program. I completed 32 units of coursework in Paralegal Studies, Legal Assisting and Legal Secretarial classes at Los Angeles Mission College. I graduated with honors in 2013.
