FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Rocky was the typical Pit Bull-mix you see at shelters everywhere. I adopted him at 7 months old. He was diagnosed with cancer in 2005 and lived a miraculous 2 years and 8 months after diagnosis. It was his will to live that changed my life forever. Seeing how hard one dog will fight for his life made me realize that no dog should be seen as disposable. No matter the issue, every single dog has a path to rehabilitation. - Dave Dreyfus, Founder, EveryDog EveryDog's ultimate goal is to have a non-profit clinic where pet parents can bring their pet with cancer or other long-term illnesses and get the care they need, regardless of financial constraints.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Dog training, dog walking, and pet sitting.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure you do your homework when choosing a dog trainer or dog walker. Schooling, credentials, and philosophy matter greatly, and you MUST feel comfortable and TRUST whomever you are entrusting your dog with.
