Spent over 1000k for her advice on what to buy. Looked awful lost more money returning everything . I agreed thinking I should trust the process. Nope! She has no creative skills. Only does black and white. Don’t recommend. The colors and textures were all wrong. She never studied this profession so I should’ve known better.

I’m so disappointed to see you write a review over 8 months later.
When we had our initial consultation, you had a very, very limited budget which was far less than the minimum I typically work with. I agreed to do an e-design service for you. You have a very large silvery-grey sofa that we needed to work around (shown in the pictures you provided). I tried to gear you towards a color palette that worked with your sofa, but you were insistent on adding colors that simply did not go together (again…..shown in the pictures you provided.) As you may or may not recall from our consultation over 8 months ago, I tried to persuade you to stay with cool tones of various blues and neutrals that would complement your sofa. You disagreed.
You accuse me of having “no creative skills”, but as a life-long artist with years extensive training in fine arts and color theory, I have a very acute eye for color and texture which is highlighted in the several colorful designs posted on my page. As an e-design client, you were sent several links of items from which to choose. You approved items, and then refused delivery once they arrived. At no point did you see all of the items together as the intended design. How can you accuse me of having no creativity when you did not allow the full process to occur, and also went against my professional advice on a color palette?

EF is a joy to work with. She has great design ideas while having her clients’ budget and goals in mind. While she has definite design ideas in mind, she’s open to her clients thoughts and is fluid about integrating her clients wishes into her overall design plans. She’s passionate about her craft and responsive and communicative. She’s protective of her clients. She will take care of you in ways you didn’t know you needed. She’s budget conscious and a talented DIY’er and will opt for great design ideas that will deliver great results without breaking the bank. I write this review while sitting in my beautifully decorated living room full of gratitude for Elizabeth Flaherty. I’m not sure I can find adequate words to convey just how amazing this experience was, but I will certainly try.
The first things I noticed about Ms. Flaherty was her intelligence, energy and passion. We clicked immediately. Elizabeth was communicative, had a complete understanding of what I wanted and was very conscious of my budget. She poured over websites comparing items to get me the best price and passed on her designer discounts saving me a ton of money. (Out of curiosity, I calculated what I saved with these discounts and it basically covered her fees.)
Elizabeth is a full service decorator/designer. When she initially told me that, I wasn’t sure what she meant. But oh my gosh, do I know now. From finding contractors, interviewing more than one to find the best match, scheduling and confirming them to sending me calendar invites so I knew who to expect and when on any given day. She is meticulous in her craft. Making sure everything is centered exactly and that no ugly cords or wires are seen. She comes prepared and then some.
But Elizabeth’s true talent is not all the above mentioned things. No, her talent lies in her ability to pour her heart and soul into your project. By the end of it you truly feel as though your best friend just decorated your house. And let me be clear- you will want to be her best friend when it’s all said and done.
Elizabeth turned my house into a home. It was as if she climbed into my mind and could see everything I wanted then took that and created an even better result. To say it was magic would diminish her hard work but that’s kind of how it feels.
To sum it up, look no further. Hire this woman. You will not regret it. And if you don’t, well then it really is your loss.

From day one of meeting, to staging day, it was an unique and lovely experience. I thought I would only do my living room, but seeing what my living room ended up looking like I decided to also do my bedroom. Thank you Elizabeth for putting a smile on my face every moment I’m at my new place. I love it love it love it. Every single detail, every single item , lights, candles, plants, pillows, furniture, absolutely everything makes my heart melt knowing it’s my place.
It’s like living at your favorite hotel and not wanting to ever leave.
