Hi I am DJ Jackie J. Founder of Jackie J. Productions LLC. I am a well-known professional entertainer and have been on stage since age 10 performing. I love my Job & this is what I LOVE to do! I have toured with my band and been in songwriting sessions with artists such as (Chappel Roan, Diplo and more) I have also been a wedding, corporate event & party entertainment specialist for the last 12 years. Last year alone, I DJ/Mced over 102 weddings and events. My company also helped plan, coordinate, bring our outstanding Photobooth and printed strips as well as 360 video booth to these weddings and events. My company Jackie J. My company offers myself as a DJ/MC for your event or wedding, I also can help do all the prior planning and coordinating for your timeline, vendor planning, and suggest vendors who work with me. On my team I have an amazing photographer/videographer, caterer (celebrity caterer to the stars) and bar staff. I can easily help you negotiate pricing so you can save money & time. Then, day of your event or wedding I have a list of coordinators that can be your 'day of coordinators' and take the stress away! I offer the best experience, customer service, fun, pro level audio gear, personality & am a veteran at events. My price is inclusive of all pro-level sound equipment, setup/breakdown, DJ & MC Services, custom mixes and playlists, consultation & professional event/wedding schedule advice. Any price quoted on Thumbtack is an estimate and a firm price can be given after a consultation. Price might vary, depending on the location. Where do I start? Seriously? Me and my fiancé had to separate due to me (the groom) having to relocate to Texas permanently due to my job transferring. During this period we were struggling to plan our wedding that we had set a date for (Jan 2025). We were 6 months away from our wedding and were becoming incredibly frustrated trying to look for vendors. I worked long hours and so did my now wife so we legitimately had no time to plan or research anything! So, desperate to find someone who could potentially do an 'all-in-one' type wedding planning/coordinating service, I hoped onto Thumbtack (which I knew very little about) to find someone. First person who pops up is Jackie! I give her a call and right off the bat I knew I was working with someone who was motivated to get the job done! During this initial call she laid out a plan for DJ service and photo-booth but when I mentioned I was desperate to find a reputable caterer, bartender, and photographer she put me at ease by saying she knew people and would start making calls. Literally within a few days she had a caterer, photographer and a chef(caterer) lined up for us. Not only that but she negotiated their initial prices to meet our budget!!! (which was limited). After she lined up all vendors she worked with us to set up a comfortable payment plan that would work for us and the vendors. All throughout the planning process she was in constant communication with us with any updates or questions. She was always available to pickup our call or text us back (even during late hours of the night!). A month before our wedding we had a video conference call with her to go over an itinerary of what the day of the wedding would look like and any last minute details. She was always very professional and understanding of our situation - always willing to work with us and our needs. The day of the wedding went off without any issues! She handled the DJ and MC-ing to a tee and everyone enjoyed the music and was dancing. If there were any song requests she would play them on demand! The chef she provided was amazing! Everyone loved the food and the bartender was terrific; making all the drinks that people wanted. The photographers took amazing shots/videos of the entire day with high quality equipment! Needless to say we had an amazing time and our wedding day was amazing! In conclusion, Jackie was literally an angel from heaven for us! She made everything happen and was the nicest and friendliest person we have ever worked with before. We are happy to call her a friend and look forward to working with her for future events! So, if you are desperate to find an 'all-in-one' wedding planner/coordinator/DJ/MC/vendor-finder Jackie is your girl!!! Thank you soooooo much for helping us with our big day! DJ Jackie was fantastic! She was very professional and was pivotal in making our NYE event a success. DJ Jackie helped me along the way and provided guidance (as I had not really done an event like this before), and the night of the event she helped everything run smoothly, set a great tone, and created a fun and up beat experience for all. Jackie and her staff were great. She kept in contact with me during the month of planning. Would respond timely when I had a question or needed information. The day of the birthday both the DJ sound by Jackie and video booth had the guests enjoying the event from the minute they showed up until the end of the night. We provided basic song selection for her to build from and she adapted as the night and request from the guest came up. Yvette and her guest had the best 50th birthday party and Jackie and staff elevated this experience. We cannot wait to work with Jackie J Productions in the future for our next big event.

DJ Jackie J (and her videographer Travis) were amazing! She was so easy to work with in the planning stages and her positive energy was contagious! On the wedding day, Jackie had all the right equipment for the ceremony and reception, including awesome lighting. She also did a great job of reading the crowd and playing music everyone would enjoy. She even went above and beyond by bringing a drone (which impressed all of our guests)! Jackie and Travis were so nice and friendly to all of our guests! Afterwards, many of them let us know how much they loved her and we loved her too!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge a base price of $200 an hour, depending on the hours needed. I have 20 years of music experience & event production, so my expertise may be a little more than other DJs. Also, to OFFICIALLY BOOK your requested date & time you MUST PAY 50% deposit at the time of booking & the remaining balance at least 1 day before your event. I don’t offer refunds
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Phone call/consultation, 50% deposit from client to hold your time & date of your event, more communication about timing & coordinating everything & all your special details & then YOUR MAGICAL DAY
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
20 years of audio production & 10 years live music production. Online training from MUSICIANS INSTITUTE. Produced my own original music and for other artists.
