I teach piano and cello lessons. I have been teaching since 1994. I am Nationally Certified Teacher of Music, and I have Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Piano Performance. Although I have the education and experience, I have lowered my rates because I have a lot of kids and my house can get a little chaotic from time to time.

Our boys have studied with Melanie Mcbeth for years. They really look forward to their lessons. Some students become stubborn about piano lessons by the time they become teenagers. Not our boys. They love playing the piano. I think this is because they have the right teacher. Our family appreciates Melanie McBeth.

She is a great teacher!! Very patient and easy to learn from. I love that she has two piano's side by side so she can show you what to do while you are doing it. Very flexible with scheduling lessons.

Mrs. Melanies piano lessons were ones I truly enjoyed and learned the most from. She was very caring and was not only a teacher but a mentor, who cares deeply about her students. She makes her students feel welcomed and comfortable in her household yet still could be strict in order to motivate us to practice. Shes very organized and can tell if you play the wrong tone. She can even guess your tempo on the metronome right. She is great with kids and students of all ages, and I took piano lessons from her for 7 years. I am now in college so I no longer could continue lessons, but I recommend her as your piano teacher because she is so talented and caring!

I am so happy to find Miss Melanie as my kid's piano teacher. She is excellent in teaching kids. She gives lots of compliments and encouragement. She is very patient as well. She is an amazing pianist. I am very thankful that her rate is very affordable for me. I wish I could pay way more because she is so great and she deserves it. I can't wait to see my kid succeed in piano.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
You can always pay per lesson. However, monthly payments (and attending regularly) will give you a few extra lessons. You essentially get a discount for paying by the month.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I teach mostly in my studio but I do offer lessons online. The first lesson is a time for me either to get to know how you play and what you know about music, or to teach you the very first basics of music.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Masters of Music degree in piano performance, and I am a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music with emphases in both piano and cello.
