Sam of Plum HVAC, responded to our Heat Pump installation request promptly and provided a very competitive estimate after an onsite visit. He was very flexible and patient to answer and explain our questions. After we signed the contract, he and his team of 4 worked very hard to deliver and install the whole heat pump systems on time with good quality. I am particularly impressed by their problem solving skills to overcome different connection challenges for this attic installation. Each day before they started, they covered the floor with protections and cleaned up after they done for the day. They also revised some drainage and electrical work per city inspection guidance. Sam and team are professional and honest so we highly recommend them to any customers who need HVAC work done for their houses.

Plum HVAC did a great job installing a complicated Bryant Evolution dual fuel system with variable speed and zoning in our house. They also replaced the entire crawl space ducting. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer free on-site quote for all kind replacement or new installation projects, this includes a full HVAC system inspection from one of our experienced technicians, and also a free estimate which will be prepared based on the customers need and the nature of the job. We also have free consultations over the phone, which can give a rough idea of what our customers need to know about their projects. We charge $110 for any kind of troubleshooting jobs which includes 30-45 minuets troubleshooting appointment from one of our experienced technicians and if the customer decide to do the repair with us we will then deduct the call out fee from the estimate.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
All our new customers will receive a call from one of our office members to get their appointments booked based on the time frame provided by the customers. Our customers will receive notification messages prior to their appointments. Replacement and new HVAC installation appointments are all free of charge. Once customer decides to go ahead with us we will then charge them a 10% deposit or up to $1000 whichever is less. Troubleshooting services have $110 call out fee which will then be considered as the deposit for the small projects and will be deducted from the estimated fee for repairing.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are fully licensed from CSLB with license number 1087978 Class C20. And all technicians are required to have an EPA license and a minimum of 2 years of experience in the field in order to work for Plum HVAC.
