- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I usually charge a flat rate plus travel if you are far away. I will tell you in advance. Sometimes I will drive 2 hours to fix something that is broken and it turns out it came unplugged. 2 hours of driving for 5 minutes of work.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Find out what needs to be done and make sure I have all the materials needed. If it is TV installation I will ask what kind of wall, wood, concrete/brick or steel frame.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have many years of experience. I have built a career on two contractor sites aimed at companies. I have done over 1000 jobs with 100% ratings. I have completed drug tests and background checks. Instead of working for big companies where I need to drive all over the place and do lots of paperwork I want to work locally.
