FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing reflects the current market value for materials and "Best Practices" level of workmanship, and overhead. We strive to stay up to date on the newest products and materials, study up regularly on code upgrades, and consistently research the latest trends in building and assembly techniques.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, a meeting time and day is set for introductions and to review the project scope. Next, a basic rough estimate is generated from the field notes and observations. At this stage, the estimate is free. Next, a contract would then be signed and the design process begins. At this stage, the itemized costs will be adjusted to the details and specifications. Then, once the plans have been approved and permits issued, we can get to work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Certified for the California Earthquake Brace & Bolt (EBB) and Earthquake Soft Story (ESS) programs. Ongoing construction management courses to stay on top of new information.
