I did a private ceremony + engagement shoot and decided last minute to get hair and makeup done. I'm so glad I went with Joy! She was professional and arrived right on time. Communicating with her prior to the day was so helpful to figure out a timeline that worked for our day so that I didn't need to feel rushed. She made sure to check in with me on my inspo photos about what I liked and wanted so that the final look matched my vision. Can't recommend Joy enough, she was also just so fun to talk to and get ready with!

Joy is THEE BEST! This review is long overdue. But if you're considering hiring her, don't think twice, just do it! She's very professional, responsive, and super accomodating. She knows her craft. What I LOOOOOOOVEEEE about her work is that literally no matter what type of skin color, type, etc. you can think of - she can make it all work. Her makeup skills are AMAZING - she was able to glam up my whole bride squad, no matter what they chose. All of my girls had different types of hair and skin, etc. And her pallete was able to accodomate everyone. She also works with hairstylist Britney! And honestly this team is truly a dynamic duo. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my makeup ever. Thanks Joy and Britney for all that you guys did on my special day.

She was amazing. She made my makeup the same color lols. I wanted to work with her because she has done colored folks and I was recording my talk show & would have been angry to look an entirely different color lols. She did great with my minimalist makeup look. Loved it.
