- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
SwimVerse 2023 rates are based on $150/hour with the following recommended lesson duration: 30 minutes ($75/lesson) ages 3-8 for beginner level 45 minutes ($112/lesson) ages 8-15 for intermediate level 1 hour ($150/lesson) ages 10-99 intermediate/advanced level
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first lesson is always an evaluative session of basic skills and an opportunity for instructor and client to get to know each other. Before new clients are added to our calendar, they are informed there is a 1 hour minimum lesson session time per pool location. Lessons are offered in packets of 5, 10, 15, and 20 For optimum learning conditions, we ask pools be heated to a minimum of 80 degrees, no others are swimming while lessons are in progress, and hot tub/spa use be reserved until after lessons are completed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Anne Gatlin, founder/owner of SwimVerse has been in aquatics for 55+ years as a competitor, instructor, and coach. The SwimVerse method of instruction is based on years of experience, a college degree in Kinesiology/Biomechanics, and the belief children are wonderful human beings . . . and everyone should enjoy the process and results of learning to swim! All SwimVerse Instructors are trained in the SwimVerse Method of instruction, certified in CPR/AED and First Aid, insured, and devoted to bringing enthusiasm and patience to the learning process.
