- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to learn your tennis background and what your goals are. We usually start with either email/text or a phone call, and then in our first session I get a full evaluation of your game and at the end of the lesson we can discuss how I can help you get to your goals.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been around this game pretty much all my life -- you could call me a tennis lifer. As a player I trained at some of the best academies in FL, including Evert's and Bollettierri's, practicing alongside some of the world's top future pros and playing national tournaments. I then played professionally on tour, earning ranking points on the Futures circuit and a national ranking of number 10 in the U.S. I transitioned into coaching and learned from Robert Seguso, Juan Nunez and Etienne Dumas amongst others. As a coach I've worked with many elite level players, including legends like the Williams sisters, Jennifer Capriati, Wimbledon doubles champion Nenad Zimonjic and many others. I've coached at a number of facilities, among them: Advantage Academy, South Bay Tennis Center, Cheviot Hills etc. Additionally I've served as the high school coach for Marlborough High and am currently coaching the Beverly Hills High team. I've been lucky enough to teach at all levels, from top pros, to aspiring juniors, to women's clinics, to kids just learning the game at summer camps, and plenty of people who just want to get out there, have fun, get fit and get better.
