I offer Zoom singing lessons in most genres for all ages and all levels, with customized lessons to suit your skill and needs. Beginners welcome! Lessons offered over Zoom and the occasional home visit. My favorite thing in the world is helping singers or aspiring singers strengthen their voice and confidence, so you have come to the right place!! Not sure about lessons over Zoom? Many people are apprehensive since this is a newer way to learn, but I have found a ton of success teaching over Zoom. We had a hard time finding local voice lessons and were leary to try virtual, but Brooke made the entire process so easy and she is so sweet and welcoming. She immediately made my daughter feel at ease and comfortable enough to sing in front of her. We are so happy we found her/she found us!

Absolutely amazing vocal coach. I’ve been working hard for years to release my vocal tension in both singing and talking. I’m a pop artist and have lots of great songs I have always wanted to sing well - but couldn’t because of my limitations. Brooke has blown through those in just a month, and I can now sing like I could have only dreamed a few months ago. It feels great, I sound great, and I am making leaps and bounds of progress. It is honestly so exciting. She is all-in in every lesson, tailoring everything to your very specific needs during the lesson rather than presenting a single hammer and nail approach to every problem by just prescribing the same exercises that she would prescribe to anyone. She has an amazing ear, voice, and capacity to explain technique in a way that makes it very attainable. In short - I am so grateful I take lessons from her and for what is making possible for me - truly a dream come true!! If you are on the fence - just do it, take lessons from Brooke!!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our first lesson will consist of time spent getting to know each other. I will share about myself and my experiences, and I am excited to hear about your experience, or lack of which is also perfectly fine and welcome in my lessons, and your goals/aspirations with singing. In our lessons, our main focus will be on two things - vocal technique (singing in a healthy way to prevent damage to the vocal cords) as well as working on your favorite songs/genres. I am always open to requests and feedback, and want to cater the lesson to what you want to get out of the time.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Based in Los Angeles, Brooke Stephenson is a professional singer, songwriter, vocal coach and voice over artist based in Los Angeles. She works full-time recording for clients remotely at her home studio, session singing, singing at events and weddings around the world, recording or performing background vocals for artists, and more. She is a graduate of Berklee College of Music, where she majored in Music Business and received a Bachelors of Music in singing. In 2019, after earning a spot on Kelly Clarkson’s team on NBC’s The Voice Season 17, Brooke worked one-on-one with Clarkson and her chosen advisor Normani, refining her musical palette. Throughout her career, she has sang background vocals on Andy Grammars track "I Found You", the 2022 Grammy winning album ("662" - Kingfish), and the 2021 Grammy Nominated album ("The Allegory" - Royce Da 5'9), and much more. She has sang for notable names such as President Joe Biden, VP Kamala Harris, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Jimmy Page, Gloria Steinem, John Legend, Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton and many more. She sings and teaches a variety of genres (ballads, pop, country, rock, blues, EDM, jazz, etc) and was a semi-finalist in the 2022 International Songwriting Competition.
