I’m someone who bought a sewing machine years ago and would try on and off to learn how to use it via YouTube. I’m sure if I kept at it, I’d get there eventually, but it would’ve taken longer and I doubt any of the finished projects would look 100% perfect. I’ve worked with Hilary for about 4 months and I am loving my time with her. Her experience and work in the fashion industry is a gold mine of knowledge. So far, we’ve made dresses, skirts, basically anything I want to make. The finished products receive compliments, specifically that it looks like it came from a store! If you’re in a rut and want to speed up the process of learning a new skill, Hilary can teach you all the things you want to learn. In addition to the technical knowledge, she is professional and easy to work with and learn from. Best decision I’ve made.

Hilary is an amazing resource. She has a vast knowledge of sewing, pattern making, style...she is creative and, best of all, a super nice and easy to work with teacher. I value every minute of her time and always leave my appointments feeling like I learned so many new things-- from cutting, to tips and tricks, to novel solutions, fabric recommendations and approaches to a final product. She is thoughtful and full of ideas. I highly recommend her!

Hilary is a beacon of light for anyone who's interested/beginner/ intermediate/advanced in sewing. Her passion and experience is so inspiring! Her lesson plans fit exactly what you personally are trying to get out of sewing. The light homework given is so comprehensive and efficient as well. Hilary was so quick to get in contact with me and adjust me into her schedule for something that works for both of us and I absolutely adore and cherish our lessons. You will never feel lost or overwhelmed with Hilary, and she is always keeping you updated with what you should buy/need along the way. We went from simple practice to draping and drafting patterns based off of my designs! 100% recommend choosing Hilary for any of your sewing endeavors!!

In two years of working with Hilary I have went from not knowing how to properly thread a bobbin on a home sewing machine to now working with her on pattern making and making customized dresses, skirts and more! I’ve learned how to work on industrial and serger machines and everything in between. Hilary is a genius at her craft and has the ability to break it down into simple instructions so that as a student you can learn and apply her techniques easily and quickly. If you are serious about wanting to learn….this is the place to enroll at. I highly recommend!!!! 😊💯❤️

Hilary is the most knowledgeable person I have ever met as far as patterning and clothing construction are concerned. She is a patient teacher and is super easy to communicate with. Definitely save yourself the headache of trying other teachers and go to the best
