FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
If you have a firm budget we need to stay under just let me know! Please keep in mind that estimating the amount of time something will take in a studio setting can definitely be tricky, since there are so many variables to consider. The best way to work in my opinion is to have an estimate and allow some flexibility!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I think it's important to have a phone conversation first to talk about the project and all the specifics. This way we can get on the same page and make sure this will be a good fit you. If everything is sounding good then we can either book the session or if you prefer to see the studio first I'm happy to set up a meet & greet!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Certificate in Audio Engineering from Musician's Institute, and 2 Avid Certifications in Pro Tools (User & Operator). I also have an Associate's in Music Performance: Bass Guitar from Los Angeles College Of Music. As a Bassist (20 years) I've performed over 800 gigs with over 40 bands across many genres, and I also play Guitar, Sing, and Program mainly with Maschine & Logic. I've been working with & writing with bands and artists my whole life, and I love the process of writing & recording music!
