Music Lessons with Sam

Hi! I'm Sam, a pianist, composer, producer, and, most of all, a dedicated music educator. I've written music for major network television shows on HBO and Apple. I've produced and engineered for artists with hundreds of thousands of monthly listeners. I've performed as a pianist with some of the world's foremost musicians, including the London Royal Opera. I've been a music educator for over a decade, both as a private instructor and a classroom teacher. Students I’ve worked with have been accepted to top music schools including USC, UCLA, and U Michigan, as well as been accepted to prestigious youth music programs in Los Angeles including Sunset ChamberFest and the LA Phil Composer Fellowship! My goal is to help students grow into self-sufficient 21st-century musicians. I want those who study with me to develop the skills and confidence to write, play, and produce their own music, or any combination of the above. The needs of the modern musician are broader than ever. I ensure that my students are prepared to meet those demands, providing them with the foundation they need to thrive, whether as a dedicated hobbyist or a budding professional.
