FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Initial client conversations to determine legal needs and expectations are free of charge. For attorney services, pricing models depend on your type of project. Business law documents and estate planning documents will be charged using flat rates, with some limited exceptions. For mediation services, I offer half-day and full-day rates, with reasonable hourly rates if further support is needed to finalize a mediated settlement.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For attorney services, I like to have an initial conversation, free of charge, to get to know a potential client, understand issues and expectations, and determine exact legal needs. This will help provide accurate time and cost estimates. For mediation services, I like to have initial conversations with both parties to understand the issues and goals of the parties, establish ground rules and processes, and determine scheduling.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Graduating from UC Law San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings Law), I have been a licensed California attorney since 2013. I have significant experience as a business attorney, an estate planning attorney, and in civil litigation. I studied mediation throughout law school, completed numerous mediation seminars as a practicing attorney, and have taught mediation and advanced negotiation skills to law students since 2014.
