FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am very transparent with my pricing. In person consultation are $250 for a two hour meeting. My design fees start at $95 per hour. For each stage, I will estimate how much time will be needed, so there is a clear estimate of hourly charges for design services such as in person meetings, video call meeting, cad drawings, furniture/fixture selection, personal shopping, material sourcing and project management.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The typical process starts with a short phone call to discuss the scope of the project, timeline, budget and style. Next step is an in person walk-through of the space. If there is an existing floorplan, I’ll take notes on each area and ask a lot of questions, about how each area is used. If there’s not a floorplan, I will take measurements and draw the project to scale in Autocad. As, we walk the space, I ask many questions, evaluate the flow and offer up some suggestions. Then discuss the client’s style and vision for the project. I will ask clients to send me their and influences, photos of their collection of furniture and art ( if they would like to include in the project.)
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In addition to my art and design background, I have over 10 years experience designing for all types of residential and commercial projects. I have worked closely with many Italian brands such as Flos, B&B Italia, Baxter, Edra, Molteni & C., Minotti, Moroso and Zanotta.
