Since graduating from San Diego State's Interior Architecture program with honors, Carissa moved to Los Angeles to pursue her career in interior design. She has worked for award-winning firms including Olivia Williams Studio, Sarah Solis Design Studio, Studio William Hefner, and Two Muse Studios. She has contributed to the completion of residential and commercial projects of all scales, ranging from small remodels to multi-million dollar new builds. Carissa is eager to continue honing her craft and rising within the Los Angeles design community.
While growing up in Southern California has certainly influenced Carissa's design style, she has always sought to find inspiration from other designers and projects around the world. She loves blending contemporary design with found pieces, but is well-versed in all aesthetics and embraces new stylistic challenges. Ultimately, she takes a more bespoke approach to make spaces balanced and tailored to every client's desires. Carissa designs with the intent to make spaces as functional as they are beautiful, and takes care to make sure every detail is executed thoughtfully. Her passion for her work runs deep and she is a firm believer that greatly designed spaces can transform people's lives.
