After being in the US for almost 9 years as an immigrant and an Asylee, I’ve dealt with the anxiety of many years of waiting for results and approvals. Dealing with the USCIS can be an exhausting and draining journey both mentally and financially. In Year 2018, I finally met Carlos. I had a somewhat complicated - three step process that needed to be handled. At the time, I had just gotten married to my husband who is a US citizen. Carlos and his team helped me tremendously throughout the whole process of filing the I-130 and the I-485 forms , getting my documents in order and getting me prepared for the interview. I then needed to get an adjustment of status by the court to close my asylum case. Carlos waisted no time in getting my file back in court and was able to have my status adjusted within weeks. Without me not having to show up in court! It was a huge and long overdue accomplishment which I’ve waited for for years. He is quick, to the point, on time and very attentive to our every need. He is the available when we need him. And he’s a great, easy to talk to person unlike most attorneys in this line of business. Most importantly, he took all my anxiety away by explaining everything in detail and reassuring us that everything will work out! He made it all seem easy and with immigration, it never is. Now I have my green card and I am one VERY happy client!

What an amazing experience it was dealing with attorney Carlos Barrios. We had gone to another attorney to try to get my father-in-law‘s citizenship papers filed, and all they did was take the Money and run. Carlos was very straightforward and he explained the complete process to my father-in-law in a way that he clearly understood what was going to happen step-by-step. It was a pleasure working with the whole team from the secretary all the way up to being able to reach Carlos whatever we have any questions he was very responsive and took care of us as if we were family. I have to say that even though my father-in-law was scared to go through the process, he is now a proud citizen after holding his residency card for many years. Thank you once again Carlos
