Chef Nicole is classically trained at Le Cordon Blu. She has worked for celebrities such as Cher, Moby, and Natalie Portman to name a few.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Chef Nicole is from a long line of chefs and has a heritage of female empowerment and expression of love through food. Chef Nicole's great grandmother has roots in Savana Georgia where she fed soldiers for free after the war making her a small town hero. Because of her generosity the local community supported her restaurant and she was able to raise and put three daughters through College at a time in our history when that was unheard of. Chef Nicole's grandmother Martha Ann carried on this family legacy and took it all the way to California and specialized in early fusion cuisine combining her souther roots with Californias fresh take and south of the boarder influences. Chef Nicole grew up on these flavor influences that set the stage early on for her signature outside of the box style and unique approach to flavor composition. Martha Ann enlisted Nicole's help with the families community garden at a young age and this is where Chef nicole developed her love of vegetables and local farming. Martha Ann also worked with Chef Nicole on early pallet development in the form of "tasting games" as early as 3 years old. Chef Nicole was born to do this craft and arguably has been doing so her entire life.
