Introduction
I am a very detail-oriented person with years of experience in carpentry, from building furniture to installing doors, and I'm an excellent-problem solver who can handle just about any minor household repair you can throw at me—plus I'll always be honest when something is a little beyond my reach. I've been working for a few agencies that I realized were just advertising on here anyway, so I thought I'd strike out on my own. Also, I live in this town for the same reason most people do—to make visual media—and I have some of the strongest aesthetic sensibilities you're going to find on here, and I will be exacting in implementing them.

Jack did a fantastic job helping me out! I have an awkward shaped room & needed a custom built desk. Jack came and did a consultation, hearing my wants and concerns and built the desk (as well as some floating shelves) to my specifications. He exceeded my expectations when it came to professionalism, quality, value, and responsiveness. He really took the care and time needed to get the job done.

Details: 2 - 5 hours (A few different projects) • Installation • Bedroom • Furniture • Shelving • Home

Jack’s communication levels were terrible unfortunately he seems like he has a lot of things going on for the price that he charged and the time that it took it was not worth it

Details: Installation and removal • Front yard • Exterior of property - ground level • Roof • Bushes • Yes, I will need the professional to provide lights • Less than 1,000 sq ft • Ground lighting • Props (Deer, Sleighs, Elves, etc.)

Jack Walsh's reply
I don't normally respond to reviews because I don't know how to take praise all that well, but I guess I better make an exception! Lou strong-armed me into taking a flat $300 in labor for an on-site consultation, me purchasing the lights at Lowes, and then installing them competently and attractively on his house—I put the project up on my profile. He more or less verbally abused me throughout, accusing me of laziness, dishonesty, or some other character flaw whenever we talked. He also constantly blames his wife being mad for every pointlessly hostile thing he does, even though she's very sweet. My "communication levels" refers to allowing Lou's missus to pay me for an LED reindeer she asked me to buy without stopping to ask her husband if she could do that first (he didn't take it well when I pointed out that this is illegal), my "lot of things going on" was my childcare ending early which has no bearing on a flat-rate job, and I do apologize that it did not feel "worth it" to pay me roughly half of my listed rate to risk mortal injury to hang an able-bodied man's Christmas lights.
