FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$50 trip fee which is waved if hired. TV mounting starting at $100
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The client would explain their goal in mind and I'd facilitate the understanding of the work and buying the parts/hardware needed for the project. We'd go over any necessary details and desires of the client as I formulate a plan and schedule. For anything like a bedframe or glass bathroom enclosure, I'd gift you a drawing with dimensions and material details along with the estimate process. Depending on the project a deposit is taken (for material costs) after the work is scheduled. I bring the material/hardware to install, unless supplied by client, keep you up to date as you'd like with the work and go over with you before collecting final payment and walking away. Every job gets a "quality check" before I go home.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Currently enrolled in California State Contractors school, I've taken local courses in automotive technology, autobody repair and welding. This is where I learned a great deal of fundamental skills and work processes. Over the years I've worked under a few contractors who trained me with me brands like Anderson, Millard, Marvin and others. Through this time I've become Osha 10 Safety certified, AAMA certified for door installations, certified by Sunland for boom lifts and I'm accustomed to driving large flatbed trucks. I have over 8 years of work in the trades and over 4 years welding up and installing steel doors and windows.
