We LOVED hiring Derrick. Absolutely LOVED. We hired him for my husbands 40th birthday party which was Oktoberfest theme. I chatted with Derrick on the phone and immediately knew he was my guy. I explained I wanted Oktoberfest / Polka music for the first hour and then 80s / hits for the remaining 2 hrs. Derrick was extremely confident that he could do it. From the minute he arrived he was friendly, kind, professional, and had such a wonderful energy. Derrick DELIVERED!!!! We ended up paying for Derrick to stay longer because he was such a huge hit at our party. He played fantastic music, took recommendations, was approachable, and brought his Saxophone (which I asked for!) . Derrick blew us away and will be the only person I hire moving forward! We loved having him and he did amazing!

Me and my husband hired Der2Lov for the entire wedding day. We thought we may need two different bands due to the different vibes required for a ceremony and a reception but this turned out to be THE solution. I’m beyond grateful we chose them! For our ceremony we were hoping to create a warm and loving atmosphere. Not one single eye was dry by the end of the performance. They performed their version of our two favorite songs and Lovisa really made it special with her angelic voice. Derrick accompanied on guitar on one song and piano on the other one as requested. Then for the reception they brought the full band and absolutely crushed it! They both were out in the audience dancing, playing saxophone and singing at the same time, they even got my grandma on her feet dancing!! Also - super easy and delightful to deal with, they got married recently themselves so they knew what questions to ask and how to relieve stress in the best possible way. This was an important day and you made it even more special, THANK YOU!

Our rate varies depending on the service (soloist, duo, trio or full band). We currently offer a 15% discount on all our services!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to connect over a call to discuss the event details and expectations for the event for us to costumize it to fit your needs and vision with regards to number of musicians, type of sound equipment and stage lights required, preferred music style/genre and song requests.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Derrick studied Jazz Saxophone with a piano minor at the University of Miami as well as Johannes Gutenberg University in Germany. Lovisa has a bachelor in Music Production from Stockholm's Royal College of Music as well as an performing artist degree.
