About
Hi! My name is Ethan Saxe, and I have been a musician since I was 5 and I have always enjoyed sharing that passion! I received a bachelor's degree in Music Education from CSULB and since then have been on national tours as a performing musician and played international festivals, as well as having taught over 100 private students for 5 years. I believe the most important part of learning music is ensuring it is joyous, positive, and catered towards your personal musical goals. Whatever music you want to learn let's get started! I'd love to help you achieve your artistic ambitions! 😊👍

I've been reading music books and have been playing for quite sometime and I was looking for a tutor to guide me and put things into prospective. Ethan made it easy for me to understand (as I am a person who speaks English as a second language.) At first I was having doubts about online classes; but after my first class with Ethan, he changed my outlook about online classes. Ethan has so much knowledge and very skilled. he's made the classes very easy to follow from chapter one to extend topics. I've noticed my progresses has been improving after trying so many things myself. I speak very highly of Ethan and would recommend him as a music tutor

10/10 would take lessons from again. Ethan is a solid teacher and a fantastic trombone player, during our lessons we started with me learning trombone as a second instrument, but switched halfway through to him giving me soloing lesson on sax. Through both kinds of lessons I got to see how well versed ethan is in all kinds of music and how he can properly teach people from beginner to advanced. He was always willing to put in the work to help me out and even gave me valueable information on how to get into music school and what it might intail. After taking lesson from ethan for over a year I’ve advanced in everyway as a musician and he taught me tons of stuff that it’s taken a year of Music school to cover.

Ethan worked with my youngest sister on trombone. He was incredibly helpful, cared to connect with my sister in order to use her interests to help him guide his teaching, and his communication with me was impeccable and very thoughtful. I would trust no one else to teach my loved ones the enjoyment of music.
