What's something you've always wanted to do in dance? Hi! I'm Erika, and I'm a Lindy Hop, Jazz, and West Coast Swing dancer from New York City, newly based in San Diego, CA. I've spent the past twelve years traveling to more than 200 swing dance events around the US and Canada, training with champion dancers to bring back the best tools to help you quickly learn and feel comfortable in your own skin. I've taught group lessons regionally around the Southeast, the Northeast in Boston, and in New York City with Brooklyn Swings and at the Horizon's School of Technology. I've also taught wedding dance lessons, helping couples find their groove together and fully express themselves on the best day of their lives to their favorite song and impress everyone. In my spare time I coach a leadership program, helping six amazing individuals make a difference in areas of life that matter most to them. I combine my work as a coach with my dance knowledge to help new dancers have quick breakthroughs, see things in new ways and do things they may have never thought were possible. I'll provide you with simple, targeted exercises you can practice by yourself or next to your partner at home to develop awareness in the muscles that will support you in dance...and well...life in general. You'll feel stronger every day.
