Introduction

Important: All lessons are online other than the Palos Verdes Peninsula of California, where I travel to my students’ homes. First Lesson is Free! Rates: Online $35/half hr or $60/hr. Thanks!! For 10 years, I have had the privilege of teaching piano, vocals, guitar, bass guitar and ukulele. I have students as young as 4 and teach all ages. I have many years of experience performing live music in Los Angeles, as well as professional musical theatre, including Disney Land, Las Vegas and The Getty Center. I teach on-stage presence and ways to overcome stage fright. For younger students I utilize incentives like games, stickers, candy (if ok with Mom and Dad) crayons and a constructive, positive attitude! Sincere Thanks!! Todd McLeod

Todd has been our family music teacher for almost ten years. He has taught the kids piano, guitar, and voice, at all different ages and stages. Todd has been extremely flexible with our kids as their music interests shift, to allow them to follow their music passions. For us this has been invaluable because it allowed them to explore music in a variety of ways, to become lifelong lovers of music. Todd brings with him humor and playfulness, and a heart of gold. We absolutely adore Todd as a teacher and for the awesome person he is!

He teaches guitar, piano, vocal and songwriting etc. to his students (kids and adults) and has for many years. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
First lesson is free!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I am flexible with scheduling, and make sure their lesson time fits in their schedule with ease. Once scheduled, I ask the customer many questions to find out their musical goals and get a sense of their personality, and they mine. I also make sure they are comfortable and at ease during the lesson. I let the customer know what to expect of me, and depending on age, will recommend the appropriate books for them. I am very communicative.
