- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing system is designed to be straightforward and transparent. For diagnostics, we charge a flat fee of $75 If Diagnostic's are not needed, then our hourly rate applies. In terms of labor, our rate is $120 per hour. It's worth noting that the majority of our jobs are typically completed within an hour to two hours, ensuring efficient and timely service.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At Mad River Technology, we follow a standard procedure when dealing with customers, which involves conducting a thorough diagnostic assessment of the problem they are facing. This process usually begins with an onsite visit to the customer's location, as it allows us to have a comprehensive understanding of the issue by assessing the entire environment. While certain diagnostics can be performed remotely, we believe that an onsite visit provides the most accurate and detailed analysis of the situation.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My journey in the technology industry began during my final year of high school when I joined a local computer store. Since then, I have dedicated 23 years of my professional life to the corporate IT world. However, I recently made the decision to venture into entrepreneurship and establish my own business. My aim is to offer a unique and exceptional level of IT tech support, characterized by a white glove service approach that is not commonly found in this field.
